Want to be more sustainable but don’t have the funds? Don’t worry, the GEC is here to help! The Green Rebate Fund (GRF) is for Student Union groups that require additional financing in order to implement sustainable practices as recommended by the GEC. If your student group:
○ is recognized by Student Union
○ has consulted with the GEC
○ is seeking funding less than or equal to $250
○ is seeking to lessen the environmental impact of existing event operations
○ demonstrates financial need for Green Rebate Funds
○ has not previously applied and received funds for the current request
then you are eligible! All you have to do is follow these easy steps, and we’ll provide financial assistance for your sustainable event:
1. Fill out the application below and wait for GEC approval.
2. Fill out an interdepartmental order as outlined by these steps.
a. Go to sufinance.wustl.edu
b. Student Group leader logs in
c. Go to “Fill Out A Request Form”
d. Select the group’s name in Step 1
e. Group must complete Step 2
f. Request Type (Step 3) is an interdepartmental order (select from drop-down)
g. The Student Group is receiving payment
h. 90015 SU Operating Green Events Rebate Fund is making the payment
3. Keep proper financial records and give a copy of the receipt or invoice from the purchase to the GEC.
